DAVID WOHLSIFER, Ph.D., LCSW, has
experience in individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. After
graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he completed a postgraduate
specialty certification program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the
University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Cognitive Therapy. He also has advanced
training as a sex therapist. His areas of expertise include sexual issues,
sexual dysfunction, anxiety and mood disorders,
family therapy, trauma, substance abuse, and internet and pornography addictions.
Dr. Wohlsifer also has worked extensively treating sleep disorders using
cognitive therapy. He is on the faculty at the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School
of Social Work and Social Research, the University of Pennsylvania's School of
Social Policy and Practice, and teaches Couples and Family Therapy at the
University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine, Psychiatry Residency. Dr.
Wohlsifer chairs the Jewish Family Interest Group for the American Family
Therapy Academy, is an associate editor for the family therapy journal Family
Process.
