Bala Psychological Resources is a group of experienced psychotherapists who have worked together for many years. Our collaboration allows us to offer a full range of psychotherapy services for you and your family. We teach and publish and are recognized both locally and nationally. Keeping current with new research and thinking enables us to bring new ideas and broader visions of therapy to our work. Our goals are to help you lead a more meaningful life, develop more satisfying relationships, grow and heal from psychological injury, increase your resilience to stress, and find joy in your day-to-day living.
Care That Connects
Human beings are individuals who are also a part of a couple, family or community. When we experience multiple stresses and help is needed, it is often hard to determine where to start. Our practice can help you sort out the type of treatment that is best for you and your family. We are dedicated to supporting important connections while encouraging individual growth.
Care in Context
We can only develop a full picture of you as an individual when we understand your cultural background. Our approach includes learning the family stories, norms and values that relate to your ethnicity, gender, race, religion, and sexual orientation in order to better help you.
We Offer Couple, Family, and Individual Therapy
Additional modalities include: meditation and relaxation training, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, medications, men's groups, co-parenting counseling and custody mediation, and play therapy for children.
